Ningbo Ltd is the brainchild of a group of experts to create in China
a system engineering center of competence in the field of power conversion
and electronic motion control. The strategy of operation is: from
the beginning, focused in three main sectors: Ideation, design, simulation,
prototyping, and industrialization of specialty motors and motion
control actuators optimized for electronic control and integrated
into the actuated mechanical system; Innovative power electronic drives,
in which original topologic solutions and control algorithms are used
to optimize the energy flow and maximize system performance, minimizing
line harmonics and optimizing EMC performance; Developing actively
the technology and marketing in the field of rare earth permanent
magnet for motor application.
The design activity generated a number of international patents, from special motor or thruster design for the control of large structures, to motor assembly techniques, to control algorithms for PWM AC-AC converters. The Company performs all stages of the product design cycle, from conception through validation with CAD and FEA tools, to component and subsystem design and specification, down to the definition of tools, jigs and production cycle. Apart from the custom products, Phase Motion Control
manufacture a complete line of standard brushless servo motors (ULTRACT
II and MINACT), of linear brushless PM servo motors (WAVE), as well
as MOS and IGBT AC servo drives (AX4, AX-V and MICRON). For large
Customers, OEM production runs are performed or manufacturing licenses
are awarded. |
